Finding the way home

I saw a man who told me that I should just go ahead and turn left in the white portal,
He also told me to forget about loneliness or pain cause since that moment he will be my guide...
I turned back to thank him for that but he just disappeared...

I started my journey full of hapiness, I saw the first light thanks to a little wound
After that I started to grow and learn,
I was so happy and I was the cause of happiness for some...
After few "blocks" I noticed that my journey will be different...
I left my white house just to try to come back to it....
My guide wasn't there... not always... just some days and some others not...
My journey turned difficult,
I was told to forget about pain and loneliness but....
My journey turned gray and I faced the pain and loneliness
For the first time I felt that I was going to nowhere...
I felt that my journey will not take me to anywhere and that I will live in that labyrinth forever...
Suddenly something changed...

I saw that man again... it wasn't a man... it was a word, a fact, a feeling... my guide...
Since that day I started to change,
I saw everything different,
I noticed the white path to the white house,
I started to follow that path,
I must say that it is not easy but I'm still here...
I'm on my way home... are you?

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new landscapes but in having new eyes.
